My Story

I began my health journey ten years ago, struggling with acute digestive problems and searching for the answers to my own healing. After numerous visits to different doctors and multiple tests and procedures that left me with a diagnosis of IBS (at that time considered a disease of exclusion with no cure) I started my research to heal myself. Searching desperately to feel better, I began learning about the role of nutrition in healing gut diseases and started to recover myself through nutrition and helpful supplements and herbs. I was able to manage my symptoms and feel better, but this was a long and arduous journey of trial and error, anxiety, and at times feeling hopeless and alone. What I didn’t know at the beginning was that mental health played a huge role on this path to health, and addressing and healing trauma is the most important step of this journey, and you don’t have to feel alone when healing. I was fortunate enough to work with two amazing healers who guided me on the path of self-discovery and healing. I found myself amazed by the integrative approaches to health such as energy medicine, homeopathy, chiropractic, herbal medicine, hypnotherapy, meditation, EFT, Ayurvedic medicine, acupressure, aromatherapy, Reiki, and more. I started learning more about each approach, trying to incorporate them in my healing. My whole being was so thirsty for nourishment. Being a teacher at the time made it hard to create a balanced life as my days were filled with all the stress and responsibilities of teaching my students and caring for my family, leaving me no time for self-care. Years later, I found myself in a very challenging classroom and that was an experience I had to go through to leave school-teaching and to be able to find the nourishments my soul was asking for. I knew I wanted to help people, to alleviate pain and suffering, and to contribute to the healing and betterment of the world. Through my own experience, I had learned a lot and was naturally giving holistic nutrition advice to friends and family. After meditating and searching, I came across IIN: Institute for Integrative Nutrition and I loved their philosophy and approach. So that’s how I embarked on a journey of discovery, learning a lot about nutrition and lifestyle approaches, and many integrative methods of health and well-being. As I integrated these healing methods in my life, I discovered more about which ones worked well for me. I was fortunate to learn from some of the world’s top health and wellness experts and I continue to learn about new information and techniques to help myself and others feel healthier. I now choose to make an impact by sharing my knowledge in integrative nutrition and empowering clients to reconnect with their inner wisdom through a soulful nourishment plan. My Approach

Our health isn’t just the absence of disease; it’s a dynamic state of harmony between our physical body, mind, and soul. To create this harmony, we need to nourish every part of ourselves. When given the right tools and support, we can heal ourselves. My goal is to not only help you through diet, but to give you practical tools and knowledge to know yourself deeply and to nourish your body, mind, and soul so that you can restore balance and feel happy.
